Temporary Look

Hi there. I’m back in bussiness. As you can see, I’ve just registered into Center for Foundation Studies, IIUM last week. Taaruf week was very tiring. Eventhough I did skipped some of the activities. So far it is normal here, except for the fact that the rules were a bit like when I was in school hostel. Especially limited outing. Ugh. And formal attire to class. At first, I am a bit disturbed by this environment. Feel like giving up. But things goes easy on youday after day. I’m better now.

As far as I know, I’m going to study here, for foundation studies for 1 year only. There was some sort of test to determined whether you’re going to study for 1 or 2 years. And I qualified to sit for the paper 3 exam this Thursday which when I passed, I’m exempted from English class. Wish me luck.

As for the blog, you know that few days after I’m going here this blog was down for a while without any reason. And now it is okay with the help of Adam and Wizurai I think. But I still can’t access into my own FTP account. So this is the temporary look. There’s something wrong with the pages or permalink whatever. Can’t afford to think about that right now. I’ve just added the ads and such. Oh gotta go. Later.

p/s: I heard that my name was being brought up in an argument. ROFL.

Bukit Ayer Again

Oh we’re doing this quite often lately. Especially them. My friends. As of today, they planned a normal futsal game on 8am in the morning. I nearly missed this as I slept on 4am last night. Btw, our people were decreasing though. I can see one by one of my friends had gone elsewhere to continue their study slowly. That includes me too next two weeks. And this Sunday, Tapa (Hazim) will be gone to INTEC for his Korean Diploma Programmes.

Back to the story, after the game of futsal (there were quite not enough people) Acai gave his decision about going straight to Bukit Ayer after we finished eating breakfast at the restaurant. At first I thought of going home, but then I changed my mind as we may not be able to do this together again next time. And so we went with two cars, Macha’s Kancil and Afiq’s Prelude. Me and Acai rode with Afiq while the others went with Macha. There were absolutely no people there when we arrived (actually there were a few Mat Rempits, but they were shooed by some sort of a keeper of that place I think) so we quickly take the most wanted spot that is the waterwall and deep areas.

Langkawi Revisited

It was nothing like before. I didn’t revisit for any educational purposes, of course. Nothing related to school. You see, my relatives from Ipoh and Kluang wanted to spend two days in Langkawi this school holiday season. One of my cousin (1 year younger) had been staying in my house since the early holiday and last 6th of June his mom, brother, sister + our aunt’s family came here in Perlis. And the next day after that was when we take a one and a half hour boat/ferry trip to Langkawi, or the so-called legendary island. Lol.

I’m gonna start from the beginning. First, on the way home from KL last last week (dun remember when) my cousin (Irwan) followed us back home. Mainly for using the internet of course as he is dominating my PC opening MySpace wtf (damn I think that thing doesn’t make any sense). But at least I have some company. Its kind of bored staying alone this while.. When I’m writing this, they’ve just gone back home.

The night after my realtives have arrived here, I was told to pick my other cousin on 4am in the morning at the bus station. But then Irwan gave an idea. We sneak out early at 3am and when to Macha’s house to pick him. Then we went to 7 Eleven and sat there and talk until 4am. Wahaha. The town was really empty at that time. Just a couple of Mat Rempits and the 7 Eleven workers. But the bus was late so we went back home first and went out again at 5.30am to pick her sister.

The next day, me and Irwan who was obviously didn’t have enough sleep, along with my other relatives (total of 8 ppl including me) went to the Kuala Perlis Ferry Terminal at 10am. Luckily, the next available ferry was on 10.30am so we didn’t have to wait long to reach the Island. By 12 noon we were already there at Kuah Ferry Terminal. Don’t forget, its the school holiday. Surely there a lot of people over there. And I’m sick of that.

My mom can’t get any apartment room in Kondo Istana so we ended up to this last alternative, Bella Vista Hotel. Which looked great on the outside, but crap on the inside. The swimming pool was under construction (for years I think because they can’t afford it), the TV is micro, and it is separated by a stupid pond and ppl have to take the road manoeuvre which is very long to get out of the hotel. Think, how if you want to walk to the town?

Pretty issit? It’s just an illusion OK.

But, we managed to get an affordable rental rates during the school holidays for a Toyota Avanza thanks to one of the hotel staff. Perfect for 8 people. Our first destination in Langkawi was the Gunung Mat Cincang (I dunno how to spell it correctly) where there is the Geopark and the Cable Car. The admission fees is RM15 if you’re able to show your MyCard and RM28 (maybe) for tourists.

I only can show the pictures at the Cable Car taken by my handphone because other pictures was in my cousin’s camera. And that was the only place I took pictures of by my handphone. Mind the quality ok.

School sucks -Part 1

Reminiscing back to my schooling days sometimes makes me smiling alone. Eventhough I pretty much hate it and wanted to get out of it very quickly back then, but after nearly 6 months free from those hell I have to admit rite now I miss my school days a bit. Especially living in hostel of course. Now I’m gonna write my memory about them. Flisterz might experienced some of this also I think. Haha.

In hostel, I’m having trouble to wake up on my own (not just me I guess). Everytime my eyes were closed I’m hardly aware of what is happening around me. You can’t just woke me up easily. I woke up late to school, missed prep class, missed Program Gemilang and many more. That sometimes puts me and the others into trouble with the wardens (mostly our Vice Principal of Student Affairs/HEP -he REALLY cares about the student affairs more than the wardens). So they has several methods of waking the students up (mostly during Subuh prayer):

First they’re gonna come with their motorcycles into our hostel compound and created some noise + smoke with it. Those who stayed on 1st floor were really unlucky when it comes to this. There were several occasions when I saw they pointed the bike’s exhaust pipe directly inside somebody’s room. While the people stayed on the 3rd floor (like me) were not much affected by the noise because they know the wardens were still downstairs and still going on a long way upstairs to them.

Then, they gonna knocked on the door loudly, turned on the lights and turned off the fan of every room. It is damn annoying of course. So most of the students usually woke up by this time and started to get ready for bath half-awake. While some of us still remained on their cozy mattress.

Sometimes (depending on his mood) our HEP will carry a glass of water and pour a little on each and every one’s faces inside a ‘marked’ room. I happened to be experiencing this a lot of times. Huhu.

And then there was our Head Warden, who is quite aggresive. He rarely woke us up during Subuh but when he did, the ‘lucky’ one had the chance to try the feeling of a shoe (he will choose the heavy one) outside your room flying right to their face when they’re having sweet dreams. Oh yeah I’ve taste this one too. A basketball shoe I think.

The best part is when there was no wardens to wake us up. Most of the lights were still off on 6.30 a.m. And it was very quiet. Only 2 rows of students were present for Subuh prayer in the Surau. LOL. And when the wardens managed to bust somebody for not going to the surau, here goes the most popular punishment in MRSM Langkawi, a ‘light’ squeeze/pinch on your tits. (this is only for boys OK) Damn, I hate that. But the students also have many ways to hide from the wardens:

1. Hide behind the doors - this way is very fast but very easy to get busted as you can be seen.

2. Hide under the bed - make sure you don’t keep any spiderwebs under.

3. Sleep inside the bathroom - bring your blanket into the bathroom (usually dry in the morning) and don’t forget to lock. Some of my friends were busted when doing this. I’ve never tried this before.

4. Hide inside the locker - This way is only suitable for smaller people. It is quite hot inside so don’t forget to let some air inside.

5. Sleep inside un-popular/checked room - Move into the room that is not popular about waking up late. But be aware because the wardens were full of tricks.

Now most of the teachers in MRSM Langkawi had moved to another place this year. So I think the situation is quite different between my time and right now. Anyway, I have to thank the wardens for their hardwork waking us up to perform our prayers and making sure we attended to the place we should be right on time. Without them, I’ll end up on my bed all day.

Happy Holiday!

To be continued..

New domain fully usable!

PLEASE UPDATE MY LINKS TO THIS NEW DOMAIN. THANKS.

Phew. At last I managed to get the new domain fully working under my hosting. You see, the main problem is that both my domain and hosting provider were from different people and I wasn’t in full control of everything. I had to wait for them and sometimes I’m also away. Anyway, it’s all settled now (I think). Oh and for your info, this new domain is generously sponsored by Wizurai Inc. After all this while I’ve been trying to gain something from advertising, at least this was the biggest success of marketing I’m into. Huhu. Thanks again to Adam and Wizurai for their support. I will try to be like MohdIsmail.com! Huhu. (At least I’ve to start by updating daily first)

Back again to my life, there will be a couple of weeks left until my precious 6 month holiday ended. Currently I’m wasting my holidays by sleeping until late afternoon and not going out of the house. I’m doing some homework (or research) about IIUM Cenfos which I’m going to a little bit. Like, how can we go out -legal or illegal, the surrounding, classes, etc etc. So, any of bloggers out there who read this. Please share something wit me, at least I have something to expect now than dissapointing later because of hoping too much.

You see, I think I’m kindda rebellious person. I can’t stand curfews, LIFE TIMETABLE, talks, crappy foods, and obviously the unpresent of Internet access.. Choosy me issit? Wonder how I live in hostel these 2 years back? Hell, I’m wondering myself.

Hey, I can type this long? Yay for me. Expect everyday update from now! Seeing is believing so visit my site everyday OK? Haha.
